• 2024-2025 Artist of the Month (AOM)

    At each of our monthly General Membership meeting we have a friendly artist challenge. Each month has it's own theme and members bring to the meeting an art piece they have created that reflects their take on the theme. The membership votes for thier favorite, and someone is awarded the honorary title of Artist of the Month.

    Here is the 2024-2025 season list:

    September - Under the Sea

    October - Shadow Play

    November - Call of the Wild

    December - Joy to the World

    January - Feeling Blue

    February - Can't Stop the Music

    March - Up, Up, and Away!

    April - Fruit Salad

    May - A Day at the Beach

    December 2024 AOM - Mary M-G & Helen W

    It's a tie! Congratulations co AOM Mary Merth- Guillen and Helen Wheatley for co-winning the NBAL - North Brevard Art League Artist of the Month for December 2024. The theme was "Joy to the World". Mary's winning piece in colored pencil is titled "It's A Dolly Holiday With Mary" and Helen's painting is titled "Candy Cane Christmas".

    November 2024 AOM - Scott H

    Congratulations to NBAL member Scott Hatch for winning the Artist of the Month for Noember 2024. The theme was "Call of the Wild". His winning piece in watercolors is titled "Splashing in the Water at Midnight". Great job!

    October 2024 AOM - Mary M-G

    Congratulations to NBAL member Mary Merth-Guillen for winning the Artist of the Month for October 2024. The theme was "Shadow Play". Her winning piece in colored pencil is titled "Recharging the Soul". Great job!

    September 2024 AOM - Jean M.

    Congratulations to NBAL member Jean McGann for winning the Artist of the Month for September 2024. The theme was "Under the Sea". Her winning piece in watercolor pencil is her third time to use that media. Her piece is titled "Mermaid" and was a gift for her daughter. Great job!
